Batman Pays Off
Today, as with many days, I dressed myself like a four year old boy. Ratty jeans, mismatched socks, bright red converse sneakers, and of course the Batman shirt. Needless to say I was feeling quite good about my outfit when I went out this morning to run some errands and eat brunch with my lovely sister. We had brunch at our families restaurant. some time between sitting down and the arrival of my super mega awesome cheese blintzes (with blueberry rhubarb compote!) a man walked up to our table and interrupted our conversation by saying “I couldn’t help but notice the batman shirt…” he then proceeded to tell me that he had a giant stack of Marvel comics at home that he has been meaning to get rid of and was wondering if maybe i would like to have them. HECK YEAH I WANT THEM! so anyway we exchanged emails and hopefully within the next couple of days I will be the proud owner of a whole new stack of joy.
